Problems & Solutions

  • Lack of food, clothing and other necessities for families in difficult life situations
  • Lack of access to basic medical services for residents of remote rural communities
  • Lack of permanent jobs for the rural population
  • High infant mortality rate
  • Modern lifestyle realities affecting the traditional way of life of nomadic African tribes
Solutions Unassembled nuts worsen the condition of the soil and increase erosion.
  • Support for the most needy families with food and necessary medical supplies
  • Medical care and support for those who need it
  • Everyday help and support: we help with the purchase of items that will make families' lives more comfortable - be it bicycles, water barrels or mattresses, etc.
  • Food aid: we support families with children facing difficult circumstances by providing food in the face of prolonged drought, floods and other difficult life situations
  • WAY TO AFRICA attaches special importance in helping to address the problems of various African tribes, including the Maasai, Samburu and El Molo tribes, who are not only a symbol of the country's rich cultural diversity and heritage, but are also actively included in Kenya's modern economy through tourism and handicrafts sold in local and international markets
African Tribes Unassembled nuts worsen the condition of the soil and increase erosion.

OBJECTIVE TO PRESERVE THE NATIONAL HERITAGE AND TRADITIONS OF AFRICAN TRIBES

PROBLEMS AND CHALLENGES OF AFRICAN TRIBES

  • Preserving traditional culture and lifestyles for various African tribes is becoming increasingly difficult in the modern world, creating additional challenges for many tribal communities
  • The Maasai, Samburu and El Molo tribes live in remote areas (marked on the map with the region of each tribe) where the lack of clean water is also a very serious problem
  • Due to the remote location of many tribal settlements, access to health services is limited, often leading to health problems and treatment of various diseases.
  • Limited opportunities for economic stability, especially if the tribe's activities are related to agriculture, which is always dependent on weather conditions and many different factors
  • Limited access to clean drinking water and pasture for their livestock due to changing climatic conditions and competition for resources
  • Insufficient or excessive rainfall, which can lead to crop loss, lack of livestock feed, and difficulty in providing for families

WAY TO AFRICA SOLUTION

  • Access to clean water
  • Targeted assistance
  • Adoption of innovative agricultural practices will reduce dependence on unpredictable climatic conditions and increase crop yields
  • Monitoring and maximizing visibility of current issues and communicating to the general public to address issues as quickly as possible and provide systemic assistance to the various tribal communities in Kenya
  • Creating awareness campaigns: developing awareness materials including photos, videos and articles to sensitize the public on tribal issues.
  • Engaging celebrities and bloggers to interact with the Foundation to increase its reach and impact
  • Multimedia creation: producing documentaries and videos to sensitize as many people as possible to Kenyan tribal issues in an engaging way
  • Creating tourism trails in tribal areas will help to promote ecotourism and increase their incomes
